Fangirl Moments and My Two Cents

*I read the updated version. I have not read the original so I don't know how different it is.*

To me this is like a series on tv. There are several characters with their own storylines going on. The separate plots crossover each other as the story progresses. This book is paranormal fantasy with different types of were animals/shape shifters, vampires and some not totally explained yet mental abilities. It contains both M/M and M/F and hints at ménages and orgies. Although it is quite sexual, that isn't the only thing going on. There's quite a bit of story also. I think the author does a good job of incorporating mystery, action, lust, gore and humor."All right, I can be there in about thirty minutes. Are you hungry?" he asked smoothly.
"Um, a little, but you just makes sure you're not. I don't want to look appetizing to anyone," she said sternly.

He knew at that moment, a vampire's life was truly one hedonistic experience after another.
In this story, there is a murderer on the loose killing humans and leaving their parts out to be discovered. Because of rising conflict between the human and supernaturals, this is a problem for everyone. All sides become a part of the drama. The reader witnesses the politics and family dynamics from each angle. And along the way, we get some sexy times. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more.
