With each book I think that I can't possibly love Jamie more, but then of course I do. I don't see how any book boyfriend can ever live up to how high he has set the bar. In this book we see the father and grandfather sides of him as well as the lover, husband and leader he has always been. I adore JAMMF with every bit of my soul. No male could ever be more manly, and no man could ever be more romantic.“When the day shall come, that we do part," he said softly, and turned to look at me, "if my last words are not 'I love you'—ye'll ken it was because I didna have time.”Roger has really come into his own in the book also. I'm really feeling him, and what a great person he is. The things he went through really broke my heart.
Of course Young Ian and Brianna and really just the whole lot of them touch me deeply. I super enjoy the interactions and just how wonderful and just full the cast is.
