Britt-Marie Was Here: A Novel
Britt-Marie is a quirky character. Her social skills are a little off center. After finding her husband having an affair, she leaves. It's a big step and pretty stressful for her. She's always been the do what's expected of you type. She has a fear of dying alone and no one even knowing she's dead so she takes a job. She ends up sliding right into the town and becoming a big deal. They accept her weirdness. The way this story is told kept me interested, and emotions just crept up on me more than once.
